Employment / Where and When?
Interaction with the adult world becomes a part of the student's maturation & education.

If the student is employed in the school operated business, which will vary from year to year based on the judgment of the students, this effort will lead toward a career growth in developing employment & life skills needed in the adult world.
A student choosing the school business will be on a career path & monitored by the staff to learn the basic math & English skills needed for success, along with the "life skills" required in an adult employment situation.
If a student enrolls in the school business but later becomes dissatisfied & wishes to find other employment the school & student will agree to do the following:
1. Aptitude tests will be taken by the student & reviewed with him/her by KMRIA
2. Counseling regarding career choice will be given to the student
3. Learning basic math skills & English skills are prerequisite for employment
4. Choosing employment must be a joint decision between the student, his/her parent & KMRIA. Anyone can "veto" the potential job opening.
Education , employment & "life skills" are the major goals of KMRIA.
In terms of employment this requires the following:
1. Basic math & English skills
2. Employment in a career path made requiring a high school diploma
3. A desire to succeed on the part of the child.
*KMRIA will not recommend any student for employment who does not have these skills.
Employment should stress the following:
- in control of the situation in an orderly manner
- stability
- adults acting as his/her supervisor and in his best interest
- leadership
- improvement of the student's social skills
