'Fibber's' Bio & Qualifications
'I've been a teacher for the past thirty-four (34)) years. I obtained Masters & Bachelor degrees from Montclair State University and my principal certification (C.A.G.S) from Castleton State College. Most of my career has been spent in the classroom but I have functioned as a department chair, assistant principal, and principal.
On a personal level I've been married and have three grown children. Most of my leisure time is spent writing and I've been published four (4) times. My essay 'TBI in Vermont Education' was published by ERIC. Professionally I've been honored several times with teacher & coach of the year awards and some statewide honors. I've been on the executive committee of AARP, VRTA & COVE and have been honored to serve on the Board of Directors and as President of SEVCA & COVE. I've also served on the Board of Directors VT. - NEA
Academically my majors were social studies and English.
As a teacher I also became certified to teach psychology. I'm certified to be a principal in two states. - Don 'Fibber' McGee
